Oily Skin???

Anybody out there still thinks oily skin is dirty skin?? No it is not. It's just that you may have across some oily skin women who scrubbed a lot with oil-removing or sebum-removing scrubs, which were harsh on their skin. That would have stripped their skin of the natural oils and eventually it would have led their skin to produce more sebum and alas! You see them with more breakouts. Here comes a very important suggestion! Skip the harsh soaps and scrubs and switch over to oil-free gels or foaming cleansers. Either will remove excess dirt or oil without dehydrating your skin.

The oily feeling still doesn't leave you after cleansing? The best thing to do for that is, clearing out your pores by steaming your face.
Procedure =>

  • Boil around 3-4 cups of water and add around 4 drops of some essential oil(optional) with some delicious scents available at beauty or bath shops.
  • Drape a towel over your head and the bowl, and let the aromatic steam mesmerize you for about 10 minutes.
  • Splash some cold water onto your face after this is done. Trust me you'd love the way your skin feels after doing all this.

Dry Skin???

Dry skin can be pretty irritating at times. It gives you that dry, parched feeling. Don't worry, you just need to use the right cleanser to make you feel normal. Choose the creme-based cleansers that contain fatty acids or glycerin. And after rinsing just pat dry with a soft cloth, leaving it slightly damp.
But if your skin is super-dry or flaky, then there are products known as tissue-off cleansers. They leave a thin film of moisture after washing your face with those.

Combination Skin???

Do not use any of the products made for the dry or oily skin. Use only the gentle cleansers that are specifically made for this type of skin. These products would balance your skin perfectly and make it ready for the next step, that is moisturizing.

Sensitive skin???

Choose cleansers that are allergy-tested and fragrance-free. There are many products that claim to be "all-organic" and "natural" but that doesn't mean that they'd be gentle towards your skin. Yeah, they are still worth a try. All you can do is, try those first on your neck and if they're harsh on your skin, then try gentler ones.

Hyperpigmented Skin???

For people with this skin type, exfoliating cleansers are the best as they clean off the top layer of skin along with the dark spots. But harsh exfoliators can cause even more irritation and increase the dark spots. That is why, you should go for exfoliating cleansers that contain things like glycolic acid and do their job gently.

Normal Skin???

The best thing about normal skin is that you need not buy cleansers that fix something. Instead you can buy those that offer extra benefits like the SPF infused cleansers. But yeah one thing you need to take care of is that your cleanser leaves you supple, instead of giving you a tight or over-moisturized feeling.
